PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — It might not surprise you to know that the Providence Rink is closed to ice skating, as it’s summer.

But now, you can head to Kennedy Plaza, strap on some roller skates, and roll back into the 1970s !

From now until Halloween, “roller disco” returns to the Providence Rink.

On Roller Disco Nights, the rink will have colorful disco lights to illuminate curated DJ sets, and season themes.

There will also be family skate days on certain weekends, and beginner skating workshops for first timers of all ages.

Admission will be $9 for adults and $6 for kids.

Roller disco night skates off every Thursday and Friday night, and the first Saturday night of the month until October 31.
