Teen being treated for serious injuries after pedestrian crash in New Bedford

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The New Bedford Police Department said a teenage girl was brought to the hospital after she was struck by a vehicle Friday.

The crash occurred on the New Bedford-Fairhaven Bridge around 3 p.m.

The department said the girl’s injuries appeared serious.

Massachusetts State Police were assisting with the investigation.
