Providence Police boat pulls man from water

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A Providence Police Department boat was seen responding to the area of the Providence Marina on Friday.

A spokesperson for the Providence Police Department said that a man was seen in the water around 8:45 p.m.

Crews pulled the man out and he was transported to the hospital “conscious and alert.”

ABC 6 News crews on scene saw the boat in the area near the mouth of the Providence River.
