Unsettled Trend for the Week

A Heat Advisory is on effect through Monday for a combination of high temperatures in the upper-80s and very high humidity. This will make it feel like the mid-90s which could put folks at a risk of heat-related illness. You are advised to drink plenty of water, limit outdoor activities to cooler times of the day, early morning or evening, don’t forget your pets, check in on your elderly friends and neighbors and do not leave kids or pets in the car. Monday will be mostly cloudy with the slight chance of a late-day pop-up shower. Highs will top at 88 inland and closer to 80 along the coast. Monday night will be cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms that will continue into the day Tuesday. Tuesday will have mostly cloudy skies and morning patchy fog with a chance of showers and thunderstorms with high humidity and temps topping out near 87. Showers and thunderstorms will be here Tuesday night into Wednesday, otherwise it will still be unsettled with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, high humidity and temps in the lower-80s. The high humidity back off for Thursday but it will still be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers. Thursday will top at 80. Friday too will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and highs near 80. Next weekend will have a mix of sun and clouds both Saturday and Sunday with highs near 82.
