PHOTOS: Tourist robbed of hot dog by aggressive Boston seagull

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Falling victim to a thieving seagull is a New England beachgoer rite of passage, permanently leaving your head on a swivel to keep your foot in your hand.

A tourist from Florida made a rookie mistake posing with her hot dog lunch in front of Boston staple Sullivan’s Castle Island on the 4th of July.

In a social media post, Sullivan’s showed the suspect gull dive-bombing (and photo-bombing) for Meredith Baldwin’s hot dog.

Her shocked reaction in the second photo makes for a perfect before and after.

According to ABC6’s Boston affiliate WCVB, Baldwin’s friend caught the crime on camera, and Sullivan’s hooked her up with a replacement.
