Rhode Island man arrested for allegedly threatening to kill Trump on social media
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Acting Rhode Island United States Attorney Sara Miron Bloom said a Rhode Island man was arrested for allegedly threatening to kill President Donald Trump, United States Attorney General Pamela Bondi, and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller in a social media post.
37-year-old Carl Montague was charged with threats against the President, interstate threats, and threats to assault, and kidnap or murder of a United States official, judge, or law enforcement officer.
The posts were allegedly made on June 27 and Montague was arrested without incident on Wednesday.
