More Rain And Thunder On The Way

While today kept a stray shower and a few rumbles of thunder around, we’re looking for a much more active Thursday morning. As temperatures fall to the upper 60s and low 70s, we’ll have rain and a few thunderstorms move back into our area in the early morning.

Expect rain to begin around 3:00 AM and to continue on and off throughout the morning. It’ll come down heavy at times, and we could see ponding on roads and some localized flooding in low-lying areas, small creeks and streams, and areas of poor drainage. Stay weather aware, and remember not to drive over flooded roadways!

The rain eases up in the late afternoon/evening, though a few shower still stick around. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s.

Friday is less soggy and mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 70s/low 80s. We’ll have a few stray showers, but not widespread rain.

Saturday looks similar in that we could squeak out a shower, but look otherwise dry. Highs will be in the low 80s.

Sunday, while still muggy, will be partly sunny and dry. Highs will remain in the low 80s.
