Hasbro CEO: Trump tariffs could cause fall toy price spike
PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Americans could start to see the prices of toys rise this fall.
That’s according to Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks.
He said the Pawtucket-based company’s main international suppliers are China and Vietnam, where the Trump administration has implemented steep tariffs.
Cocks says Hasbro hasn’t raised prices yet, but that could be coming in August through October.
About half of the company’s products are already made in the U.S.
