Surveillance footage from Garden City shots fired incident released

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cranston Police Department released surveillance footage from Garden City showing the events that transpired during a shots fired incident on July 9.

The footage showed one man fleeing from a man in black, while the black-clad man pointed what appeared to be a gun at the victim.

Cranston police Colonel Michael Winquist said that five shots were fired at a man leaving the LA Fitness gym.

On Thursday, the two men arrested in connection with the case appeared in court for arraignment.

Bail was set at $100,000 for both 21-year-old Andres Pizarro and 31-year-old Andre Ross on the charges brought by the Cranston Police Department.

Cranston police also released bodycam footage from officers who responded to the incident.
