High-value Pokémon cards stolen from New Bedford collectibles shop
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The New Bedford Police Department and 1st Edition Collectibles said that several high-value Pokémon cards were stolen after a breaking and entering incident on July 8.
Police said that the shop on Purchase Street was broken into around 2:30 a.m.
The business posted a still from surveillance footage showing the suspect on Facebook, as well as pictures of the the stolen cards.
According to the collectibles price tracking website PriceCharting, the average value of all the items combined was almost $89,000.
The police department said that the incident remains under investigation and no arrests have been made.
