Mostly dry and seasonable weekend on the way

Unsettled weather returns next week

Happy Friday!

We’re off to a mild start with lots of clouds and a bit of patchy fog this morning, but that fog should burn off in the next few hours. We gradually see clearing throughout the day with temperatures this afternoon in the low 80s inland and in the 70s along the South Coast. There is an isolated chance for a shower this afternoon mainly to the North, but some onshore flow will push most of those showers north of us. Ultimately, I think most of us stay dry today.

The weekend is looking great as well – seasonable with highs in the low 80s but remaining humid. There’s another chance of a stray shower tomorrow afternoon, but again I wouldn’t cancel any plans and most of us won’t see one. If you do, it would be quick (think 5-10 minutes). We’ll have a mix of clouds and sunshine in place both days.

We return to a hot and unsettled pattern next week – with rain and storms in store for Monday and highs approaching 90 by midweek.

Have a great weekend!
-Tyler
