12 displaced in North Providence fire

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — 12 people are displaced after a fire on Woonasquatucket Avenue Friday morning.

Firefighters were called to the scene around 9 a.m.

According to the fire department, nobody was injured.

Two cats were found unharmed after the fire was put out, the fire department said.

The home is not considered a total loss, but there is extensive damage in the bedroom.
