Heat And Humidity Are Back
We’re going to stay mostly cloudy for the rest of the evening. While there are a number of nasty thunderstorms with drenching rain to our west, we’ll only be looking out for a stray storm or shower as we get into tonight and tomorrow morning. Lows will be in the low 70s– mild for this time of year.
Tomorrow begins with a few showers, but rain clears out toward the middle of the day. However, that’s only half of the weather equation here as temperatures rise along with humidity remaining high. A Heat Advisory will go into place at 11 AM on Tuesday, lasting until 7 PM Thursday evening. On Tuesday, highs will be in the low to mid 80s, feeling like the low 90s. Wednesday and Thursday, highs will be in the mid 80s for the coast, upper 80s inland with heat indices in the mid to upper 90s. Friday will be similar.
On top of the heat and humidity, we have a chance of a few showers and a thunderstorm or two on Thursday an Friday. While neither day looks like a washout, just know that, where thunderstorms do set up, the rain will be heavy.
The good news is, right now, the weekend is looking mostly dry and pretty sunny!
