East Providence Police searching for vehicle involved in hit-and-run incident
EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The East Providence Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect vehicle accused of hitting a pedestrian and leaving the scene in June.
On June 21, police said the vehicle allegedly hit a 27-year-old man in the area of Warren Ave. and Potter St. around 11:20 p.m., and fled the scene.
East Providence police said the man suffered “fairly serious head injuries” but is “recovering well.”
Police said the photo shows the vehicle prior to the collision near Comedy Connection.
