Thrifty Tot’s Consignment Shop collecting clothing donations for Gabriel House fire victims

TIVERTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Thrifty Tot’s Consignment Shop is collecting clothing and toiletry donations for victims of the Gabriel House fire.

The owner of the shop said they are taking in donations to make sure victims get the items they need after the tragic fire.

The shop is accepting clothing, toiletries, soap, and body wash.

However, the owner said they are not accepting food items.

Anyone interested in donating clothing and toiletries for the victims can stop by the shop at the following days and times:

  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Thursday: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The owner added that the shop is coordinating with Gabriel House to make sure those in need receive the items.

Additionally, once the families get the items they need, the leftover items will be donated to a nonprofit in New Bedford that helps other families in house fires.

A list of the victim’s clothing sizes and needs can be found at Thrifty Tot’s Facebook here.
