Planned Cranston splash pad won’t be finished this summer

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Cranston’s parks and recreation department is announcing that the planned Doric Park splash pad will not be finished this summer.

That’s because they did not receive any quotes for the site work required for the pad according to city officials.

Parks and rec director Steven Piscopiello said that the city is committed to installing a new splash pad, and that the parks and rec department will look for input as to whether it should be at Doric Park or somewhere else.
