Identity of victim in fatal East Greenwich crash released

EAST GREENWICH, Mass. (WLNE) — The East Greenwich Police Department released the identity of the victim of a crash that occurred on July 15.
72-year-old Loreen Corona of Warwick died after her vehicle struck a guardrail on Frenchtown Road.
The East Greenwich Fire Department said she was found by firefighters trapped in her vehicle.
Police said Corona suffered from an apparent leg injury as well as potential internal injuries, and was transported to the hospital, where she later died.
