Mild Tuesday on the way

Temps climb to the 90s by Friday

Good morning!

We are off to a mild start this morning – some parts of Bristol County, MA woke up to temperatures in the 40s (!) this morning, while at T.F. Green Airport we got down to a low temperature of 57 – this is within 3 degrees of today’s record low temperature. Today is shaping up to be another fantastic day with low humidity and lots of sunshine! Temperatures this afternoon will be in the upper 70s inland and low-to-mid 70s along the coast with a seabreeze that builds in later on.

Tomorrow is shaping up to be another nice day with temperatures in the low 80s, but the humidity will begin to increase a bit. You’ll really start to notice it Thursday with dewpoints climbing into the 60s and 70s once again. Highs Thursday will be in the upper 80s and Friday is looking like the warmest day of the week with highs in the 90s (this will raise “feels-like” heat-index values into the triple digits for many of us).

The weekend is shaping up to be a bit cooler, but bringing the chance for some unsettled weather with a chance for showers and storms each day. It’s not a washout by any means and I wouldn’t cancel any plans, but just have a backup plan in place. We will be able to narrow down the timing as we get closer to the weekend.

Have a great Tuesday!
