Retooled Patriots kick off training camp at Gillette Stadium with on-site dog adoption event
FOXBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — It’s day one of training camp for the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium.
Fans were welcomed to the grass fields behind the stadium.
The team also hosted three animal shelters with dogs for fans to meet and sign up to adopt, including one puppy who took off running and eluded new star receiver Stefon Diggs (see this unique route run below from CLNS Boston).
The team partnered with the Animal Rescue League of Boston, Potter League for Animals and the Berkshire Humane Society.
All outdoor training camp practices are open to the public with free admission.
They’ll run through August 10.
