Part of I-95 closed in Stonington due to multi-vehicle crash

STONINGTON, Conn. (WLNE) — Connecticut State Police said that a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 caused a closure of part of the highway Wednesday.

Police said a crash involving a motorcycle occurred near Exit 90 around 11:30 a.m. which resulted in serious injuries.

Traffic was being diverted off of Exit 91 and there was no predicted duration for the closure.

Police said drivers in the area should seek an alternate route.
