Providence holds 12th annual Fringe Fest

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The 12th annual Fringe Fest event was held on Sims Ave in Providence Saturday.

The festival included elements of celebration for the LGBTQIA+ community and other members of marginalized groups.

Organizers also pointed out that Saturday’s date held significance.

It marked the 35th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
