Wicked Hot, Wicked Humid Weather
We got to 90 degrees for the high at TF Green today, and this is just the start of a wicked toasty stretch. With that in mind, there is a Heat Advisory in place until 8 PM Wednesday.
Overnight tonight, lows will be in the low 70s– very mild for this time of year. It’ll be muggy as well, with some patchy fog around. Be careful behind the wheel!
Tuesday looks like the hottest day of the week with inland highs in the mid to upper 90s and coastal highs in the upper 80s/low 90s. With the humidity and sun, it’ll feel like the triple digits. Wednesday will still be in the low to mid 90s inland and upper 80s for the coast, and it’ll stay mostly sunny and humid. Expect it to feel like the low to mid 90s across the region. Stay safe, don’t forget to hydrate and listen to your body!
The heat finally breaks as we head into Thursday. That’s as a cold front comes through Wednesday night into Thursday, driving rounds of showers and a few storms. Showers and storms linger Thursday and the first half of Friday, but all of this sets us up for a gorgeous looking weekend!
