Commission report on Mass. assisted living regulations pushed back 90 days
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts commission working on new regulations for assisted living facilities has been pushed back at least 90 days.
According to WCVB, the Assisted Living Residence’s Commission originally planned to issue the report today.
The deadline was pushed back so the commission could hear more testimony and have more time with advocates.
The July 13th fire at the Gabriel House is still under investigation, but may have been caused by an oxygen tank and someone smoking.
Ten people were killed and at least 30 were hurt.
