Woonsocket Police arrest man accused of killing brother

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Woonsocket Police Department said it arrested a man who has been accused of killing his brother on Aug. 1.

49-year-old Alexandro Cortes Teron was charged with first degree domestic murder.

Police were called to Court Street around 8 p.m. for reports of a fight.

When officers arrived they found 46-year-old Luis Cortes Teron, who was unresponsive.

He was transported to the hospital where he later died.

Police alleged that the suspect punched his brother in the face, causing him to fall and hit his head on the pavement.
