Providence Police say that man was assaulted by 6 people during robbery

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said that a 24-year-old man was assaulted and robbed on at 3 a.m. on Sunday.

The department said the victim was assaulted on Tockwotton Street and Bridge Street by six people.

They were robbed of three gold chains and a gold bracelet and the suspects fled.
