Motorcyclist dead after crashing into trailer in Wrentham

WRENTHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Police are investigating after a deadly crash Sunday afternoon in Wrentham.

Massachusetts State Police said officers shut down a section of Route 1 between Thurston Street and the State Police barracks in Foxborough around 3:15 p.m.

Officials said a man on a motorcycle was killed when he crashed into the back of a trailer on the northbound side of the road.

The man was unresponsive when first responders arrived.

No additional information about the victim has been released at this time.
