RI gets a raise: McKee to sign new minimum wage hike into law at State House

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — This morning, Governor Dan McKee will sign the minimum wage raise into law.

The bill to raise the wage was passed in June, and will see the wage grow from its current $15 to $17 over the next two years.

This schedule is concurrent with the last minimum wage increase, which went into effect this January.

Governor McKee will sign that bill at 10 in the State House.
