One of six suspects in May New Bedford murder to appear in court
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — One of the six indicted suspects in a New Bedford murder will return to court this morning.
19-year-old Keyshla Martinez Matta of Fall River is expected in New Bedford District Court.
She has been held with out bail as a danger since the July 16 indictment.
Prosecutors say Matta and two others helped three men shoot and kill 21-year-old Kimberl Gedeon on May 26.
Three men – Elias Ramos, William Allen Robinson and Dariell Encarnacion Couvertier all face murder charges.
Matta faces assault and battery by discharge of a firearm and using a gun without a license.
