‘Day of reckoning’ Washington Bridge lawsuit returns to court

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Today the Washington Bridge lawsuit returns to Providence Superior Court.

The lawsuit was filed last year against 13 companies that provided design, construction and inspection services related to the bridge.

Today, the court is hearing four motions.

The latest documents filed in the case are a set of interrogatories and request of documents from all companies involved.

The request was submitted on July 16.

It asks for all communications between the company and RIDOT and all inspection reports.

Today’s hearing is at 10 this morning.
