Man sentenced for filming 11-year-old girl in her bedroom, transporting child sexual abuse material
BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — A California man was sentenced in federal court on Tuesday for filming an 11-year-old girl changing in her bedroom in Massachusetts and for transporting child pornography, according to the District of Massachusetts U.S. Attorney’s Office.
27-year-old Jacob Guerrero, of Woodland, Calif., was sentenced to 16 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release.
According to USAO, Guerrero would watch the victim outside of her home, and take notes of when she and her siblings showered, changed clothes, and went to sleep.
On March 21, 2021, the defendant climbed onto the victim’s garage and stood outside the victims’ window, where he took a video of her unclothed, and getting changed for bed.
USAO said Guerrero also took notes of other children’s routines in other homes in Massachusetts.
Police began investigating after reports that Guerrero wore a wig and women’s clothing and “attempted to surreptitiously record minor females in bathrooms and changing rooms at the Wrentham Outlets” with a pen camera attached to his shoes, according to USAO.
Guerrero was arrested and charged on April 14, 2022.
Guerrero pled guilty to sexually exploiting a child in August 2024 and transportation of child pornography in May 2025.
“Jacob Guerrero is a deeply disturbed and dangerous man who devised a twisted plan to prey upon children, specifically to abuse and exploit them,” FBI Special Agent Ted E. Docks said. “With these hideous crimes, this predator has forfeited his right to walk among us and will be kept behind bars and away from children for quite some time. My sincere thanks to the Wrentham Police Department for their hard work and partnership on this case.”
Guerrero also pled guilty on May 5 to filming several minors, the youngest eight years old, in the summer of 2019 in New Jersey.
