Heating Up in Southern New England… And in the Atlantic
We’ll keep the warm weather rolling in Southern New England.
Overnight temperatures will only fall to the upper 60s and it will stay muggy as well.
Humidity increases Wednesday while temperatures remain largely at or above average. The coast will be the coolest with a breeze coming from the south (off the ocean). Temperatures along the water will be in the upper 70s/low 80s. Inland, we’ll be in the mid to upper 80s with a few spots trying for 90. We’ll start the day with sunshine but clouds will increase in the late afternoon as low pressure heads our way. While parts of interior New England will see thunderstorms Wednesday evening, here at home we’ll be lucky to get a few showers. I really mean that too– we could use the rain!
As a cold front crosses New England on Thursday, our chances of rain increase… but not by too much. It’ll be a warm muggy day with highs in the mid to upper 80s, and as our cold front moves closer and closer, we could see a few showers and a thunderstorm possible.
After that front passes, our temperatures fall back near normal. Highs on Friday will be in the low to mid 80s and humidity will lower out. Clouds will decrease throughout the day as well!
The weekend looks great so far! Saturday will be mostly sunny and comfortable with highs in the low to mid 80s. Sunday will stay mostly sunny, but be warmer with highs in the mid to upper 80s and a bit muggier.
