MassDOT to shift traffic for new ramp configuration in Taunton

TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said it will be permanently shifting traffic onto the new Exit 17A off-ramp from Route 24 northbound to Route 140 southbound in Taunton on Aug. 25.

MassDOT said the work for the shift will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lane and shoulder closures will occur as needed, and at least one lane will be open at all times.
