Brighton woman charged with meth trafficking in Middleborough

MIDDLEBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — A Brighton woman has been charged for alleged methamphetamine trafficking, according to the Middleborough Police Department.

Olivia Noemi Folsom, 49, was arrested Wednesday and charged with trafficking in 18 grams or more of methamphetamine and possession of a class B drug, according to Middleborough Police Department Chief Robert Ferreira.

Folsom also had an active arrest warrant out of Wareham District Court for failure to appear in court, according to Chief Ferreira.

Officers learned on Wednesday at approximately 11:45 a.m. that a person staying at a Middleborough hotel had an active arrest warrant, according to Middleborough police.

Folsom was taken into custody without incident and officers discovered approximately 34 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia at the scene, according to Chief Ferreira.

Folsom was arraigned Wednesday at Wareham District Court and ordered held on $2,500 bail.
