Police: Recently fired employee attacked former coworker with letter opener in Fall River
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River police arrested a woman they said attacked a former coworker with a letter opener, causing a minor injury.
Police said 33-year-old Shatericka Turman boarded an American Cruise Lines ship at the City Port Authority on Water Street Thursday, then proceeded to attack the former coworker.
Turman had recently been fired from her job there, police said.
Another employee intervened, police said, and was cut on the lip in the process.
Police arrested Turman and charged her with assault to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery.
