Providence police respond to Sunday shooting of juvenile

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police detectives are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Sunday night.

According to Providence City Hall Press Secretary Anthony Vega, Providence police responded to the shooting call at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Public Street.

Arriving officers observed a juvenile male who had sustained non-life-threatening injures.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, according to Vega.
