West Bridgewater crash results in serious injuries, MedFlight for 24-year-old driver

WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (WLNE) — A 24-year-old man suffered serious injuries in a Wednesday morning West Bridgewater crash, according to Lieutenant Jonathan Craven of the West Bridgewater Police Department.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:09 a.m. near 95 Crescent Street where arriving officers found a vehicle that had crashed into a tree.

The driver and lone occupant was found to have suffered injuries that are believed to be life-threatening, according to Lt. Craven.

The driver was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital via MedFlight and his current condition is unknown.

Crescent Street was closed for two hours while authorities processed the scene and Plymouth County Sheriff personnel assisted in the investigation.

The incident remains under investigation by the West Bridgewater Police Department.
