New King Richard’s Faire site to be officially opened with ribbon-cutting

CARVER, Mass. (WLNE)– Organizers of King Richard’s Faire are preparing to cut the ribbon on their new location– the former site of the Edaville Family Theme Park.
The renaissance fair, the largest in New England, had previously been held at another location in the town.
The move, according to event organizers, will allow for greater accessibility and infrastructure improvements, as well as a larger footprint to work with.
King Richard’s Faire will run on weekends from Aug. 30 through Oct. 19.
The ribbon-cutting will take place on Aug. 28 at 11:30 a.m.
