RISP arrest 21 drivers for DUI over Labor Day weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island State Police said 21 drivers were arrested for driving under the influence over Labor Day weekend.

RISP deployed the BAT Mobile, which is a blood alcohol testing unit, on Friday and Saturday to catch impaired drivers.

RISP troopers also investigated 63 crashes and issued 377 traffic violation citations over the holiday weekend.
