A Comfortable Start to September in Southern New England!
It’s been another comfortable September day in Southern New England! Tonight will be comfortable as well, if not a bit cool. Expect lows in the mid 50s, a few clouds, and some patchy fog possible. Take it easy behind the wheel!
Wednesday continues the trend of below-average temperatures, but overall comfortable conditions. Highs along the coast will be in the low to mid 70s, while highs inland will be in the mid to upper 70s. We’ll be mostly sunny as well!
Highs on Thursday will be in the low to mid 70s. The day starts out mostly sunny, but clouds increase throughout the day. Humidity will increase as well. All of that is ahead of our next area of low pressure, which takes hold of the forecast Friday and Saturday. The result will be a few rounds of showers on Friday, as well as a thunderstorm or two. We’ll also have a few showers hanging around on Saturday as well– particularly on Saturday night. Highs will be near 80 both days.
Sunday starts off with the last of the rain, mist & drizzle early in the morning, but lightens up quite a bit by the end of the day. Great news for the Pats home opener against the Raiders on Sunday afternoon! Highs will be cooler, mainly in the low and mid 70s.
