Warwick firefighters return to Tiger Eye Gift Shop for recurrence of hot spots

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Warwick firefighters were back at Tiger Eye Gift Shop in Warwick after hot spots flared up again.

The fire was quickly extinguished Monday but fire chief Peter McMichael says it’s still unsafe for crews to enter the store.

The fire happened Saturday on West Shore Road.

Fire investigators say the fire started accidentally, but they’re still working to pinpoint a cause.

If you’re in the Conimicut Village area, the store owners are asking for you to keep an eye out for their missing cat.

Tiger Eye Gift Shop is holding a fundraiser to help them rebuild on Saturday, November 1 at Tri-City Elks Lodge.
