Providence Police searching for suspect in multiple breaking and enterings

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said they are searching for a suspect in multiple breaking and entering incidents around Sept. 4.

The incidents occurred on the east side of the city.

“The suspect appears to be targeting closed businesses and has been recorded wearing a grey hoodie sweatshirt with a black hat, black pants and a black Under Armour backpack, with the Under Armour Logo on the rear of the bag,” the department said.

The suspect was also seen driving a motorized scooter.
