Tunnel to Towers Foundation raises nearly $35K for disabled veterans

RICHMOND, R.I. (WLNE) — The Tunnel to Towers Foundation said it held an event at the Preserve Sporting Club and Residences on Sept. 12 to raise money for disabled veterans.
Organizers said a check for $34,888 was presented by the Preserve.
“We’re happy to have the event at The Preserve the day after 9/11,” Tunnels to Towers Development Manager Matt Milazzo said. “It’s crazy to think that it’s been 24 years, but we’re honored to be here in Rhode Island and put on an incredible sporting clay fundraiser. None of this would be possible without the generosity of the Preserve.”
