UPDATE: Lakeville police identify suspect in car crash into home

LAKEVILLE, Mass. (WLNE) — Lakeville police have identified the suspect in a Sunday morning incident where a car crashed into a house on Precinct Street in the Massachusetts town.

Russell Nietlich, 22, of Middleborough was arrested in the incident, according to the Lakeville Police Department.

He is facing several charges, including operating under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury and speeding.

According to Lakeville PD, they responded to the incident at approximately 3:44 a.m. Sunday when they said that Nietlich crashed the vehicle into the front of the home.

The only occupant of the residence was uninjured, and Nietlich and a passenger were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Nietlich will be arraigned at Wareham District Court later Monday.
