MSPCA urges dogs owners to vaccinate animals against parvovirus
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts SPCA is reminding residents about parvo-virus vaccines.
This, after some golden retriever puppies were diagnosed with parvo after being found in Boston.
According to MSPCA-Angell, the three puppies were found in late August.
Two of the puppies were taken to the hospital, while the third pup recovered without hospitalization.
Now all three are healthy, and soon to be ready to find homes.
Veterinarians are asking pet owners to consider getting their dog vaccinated against the highly contagious disease.
