North Providence church to bless newly installed Narcan ‘life box’

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A local church has installed a Narcan “life box” on its property, designed to provide access to the lifesaving medicine.

St. James Episcopal Church in North Providence is the first church in the state to offer the box, which will be officially blessed later today.

According to the congregation president, the life box is stocked with around 20 boxes of Narcan nasal spray.
