Providence Police investigating ‘disturbance’ with knife

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said it was investigating a “disturbance” on Broad Street overnight.

Officers responded to reports of a stabbing but later learned that a knife was displayed during the disturbance, but no one was stabbed.

The individuals who had the knife fled before police arrival.
