Warmer, Muggier, and a Little Soggier

It’s definitely a different feel in the air as we wake up on this Tuesday morning! It’s a warmer, muggier start with temperatures in the mid/upper 50s and even some in the 60s on the coast. This change is out ahead of an area of low pressure that will bring rain back to Southern New England tonight. However, in between now and then, we have a calm, if not summery-feeling day. It’ll be slightly more humid with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Clouds will increase throughout the day.

Then, showers and a few thunderstorms arrive this evening (7 PM onward) as a cold front presses in on the region. While storms look to stay below severe limits, they could have some heavy rain, thunder and lightning. Be mindful if you have to get on the roads tonight. Lows will be mild, in the low to mid 60s.

Showers linger into the afternoon Wednesday. While it won’t be a washout, it’ll be a gray day. Highs will be in the upper 60s/low 70s.

As another wave of low pressure moves in, we’ll have renewed rounds of showers and thunderstorms Thursday into Friday before the weather becomes more settled over the weekend.

Have a great day!
