RI Police Chiefs Association launch ‘Not Now’ to curb distracted driving
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Police Chiefs Association (RIPCA) has launched a new advertising campaign to help drivers stay safe behind the wheel.
The “Not Now” initiative will be rolled out on tv, radio and social media to remind drivers when you’re behind the wheel it’s not time to be distracted.
The RIPCA define these distractions as phone calls, food, notifications and even pets.
The association says there will also be billboards to help push the message.
