Bristol County DA: No evidence of carbon monoxide in death on Rehoboth murder suspect’s property

REHOBOTH, Mass. (WLNE) — The Bristol County District Attorney released more information Saturday about a death on the Rehoboth property where 18-year-old Kylee Monteiro was murdered about a month ago.
The district attorney’s office said police were called to the home of murder suspect Gregory Groom on County Street on Friday, and found 54-year-old David Lunn dead with his 48-year-old wife in critical condition.
Officials initially believed the two were suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning, but announced Saturday that an investigation found there was no evidence of that.
The district attorney said the couple had a history of substance abuse and was living in a van on the property.
