Dry conditions look to last into the upcoming weekend
We have a couple more mild days to look forward to as September comes to an end. Strong High pressure will be building down from Canada for the upcoming work week to bring plenty of sunshine and dry conditions. It’ll also bring down much cooler air (highs only reaching the low 60s) as October gets under way for Wed. & Thu. and then it looks to warm into the 70s again for the weekend.
This strong High Pressure area is also important because it will prevent any tropical moisture from coming near us and essentially deflect Hurricane Humberto out to the East-Northeast into the North Atlantic and in addition it will prevent any rain from Imelda from getting any further north than Virginia as it will turn toward Bermuda for Thursday.
